I cannot say enough good things about the maternity care center at Chatham Hospital. I had both of my children here, one in 2022 and one in 2025, and both experiences were the best I could have hoped for. A huge benefit of giving birth at a smaller hospital was the level of care and attention I received. During my first labor/birth I was the only patient in the MCC so there were multiple doctors and extra nurses in the room to assist and be available if needed. A simple reconstructive surgery after one layer Mohs surgery was billed at $11,000. The surgeon charged $2,200 - no problem. But the hospitals long list of items added up to over $8,800! Multiple anesthesians amoung many charges for this outpatient forehead stitching. Multiple calls were made to question charges but nothing changed. DON'T GO HERE unless it's an emergency!

I've been to the emergency department at Chatham and I have had several procedures done there. The staff has always been exceptional to me and they're very fast to get you in and out compared to the larger hospitals.
