If you are looking for a higher end wine experience, book this winery with the food pairing! Food prepared by a Michelin star restaurant with small batch production wines. Brian was a wonderful guide and spent plenty of time with us explaining wines, the Napa region, and the winery history. Ask about what VGS means. Very good quality craft wines!
Amazing wine and pairing. The personal homely feeling of the tasting room compliments the wine. The owner and wine maker popped in and so full of color in energy.
It was recommended to us, by one of the members at VGS and the experience had far exceeded our expectation. Our host Kathi went above and beyond to accommodate diet restrictions of a person in our party. She was very knowledgeable on wine, very thoughtful and mindful of her presence amongst us while we celebrated the retirement for my brother in law, yet very attentive. I highly recommend this winery and I would celebrate our special occasions again with VGS and Kathi. Thank you Kathi for making the visit so memorable.
Our visit to VGS was nothing short of amazing! We came here as it was one of our stops on our St. Helena wine passport. So glad we made time for VGS! The food pairing was delicious, would highly recommend doing! Our host Kathi was truly one of the most special parts of our entre trip. She was so sweet, knowledgeable, and really taught us so much about VGS and what we were drinking. Still dreaming about this amazing wine. Thank you Kathi for the amazing experience!
Had a great experience tasting the amazing wines VGS Chateau Potelle has to offer. Our VGS expert Bryan was very friendly and knowledgeable. He really took the time to explain each wine to us and was all around very pleasant and service oriented. Would definitely recommend.
