We made the hard decision to take my mom from independent living to assistant living thinking this would be a good fit for her. It was definitely NOT a good experience. Not all the staff, I have two that were very kind to my mother and our family. The others acted as if we were an imposition. They called me every day saying something negative about my mom, they were at times aggressive with her and we didn’t feel welcomed visiting her or taking her out most of the time.
