The Chateau is a beautiful place with an incredible atmosphere. As someone who visits often, I’ve always found it to be well-kept, and the views are truly unmatched. I stayed at Chateau Lake Lanier over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful with amazing views of the lake, and it’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There were plenty of activities and amenities to enjoy, which made the holiday weekend even more special. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat by the water.
OH. MY. GOODNESS. This place? Absolutely incredible. Like… jaw-dropping, heart-sighing, never-wanna-leave kind of amazing. First of all — the views. Picture-perfect, straight-from-a-postcard kinda vibes. Everywhere you look, it's stunning. Lake views from the master bedroom? YES PLEASE. We woke up every day feeling like we were in a dream. We arrived at Chateau Lake Lanier to find a terrible smell in the garage. Upon investigation we found that there was a tray of unrecognizable food covered with green/gray mold on top of the ice maker. The pool you see beautiful and clean in the pictures was actually dirty and cloudy. We couldn't even use it the first three days of our stay. Slightly outdated and lots of bugs and spiders, it is, however, a beautiful and unique house.
