we recently stayed at The Chateau and had a pretty mixed experience. the biggest issue was the room itself — it felt musky and humid as hell the entire stay. being in New Orleans, where it’s already hot and humid year-round, you really count on your room to be a cool, dry escape. unfortunately, the thermostat didn’t seem to help at all. no matter how low we set it, the air felt damp and heavy. the water pressure was also extremely low — barely more than a trickle — which made showering pretty frustrating. that said, i have t... read more
