My mother has been at Chateau since before Katrina and has found it to be a new home. Not everything is perfect but the people and caregivers genuinely do their best to address the needs of every resident, everyday. The administration is open to everyone to make living there a great experience for all.
I have mix reviews about here, trying to get a grip on my mother care here is an on going battle but believe there are good ppl there but also not so good ppl but doesn't matter what nursing hone you are at it how you treat your CNA and Nurses reflects on how they treat the residents. And that is the battle. A battle I will continue to fight as long as my mother is there. This is the place she wants to be and I will honor her wishes.
No facility is perfect, but I believe the staff and administration provide a high standard of care and show genuine affection for the patients (my mother is a current nursing side resident).
