My husband and I are originally from Michigan, but have lived in Florida for 25 years. (We are on a road trip). We heard many stories from my grandpa (now deceased) about his family that owned a winery in Traverse City, always spoke of Bob and Nadine very fondly. It was absolutely beautiful! The service was great, wine was so good! I love that you drive through the vineyard and the chateau is on top of the hill. I did go with a friend, but am going to try and talk my husband into staying here sometime.
I just finished visiting Chateau Chantal Winery and Inn, and honestly it was a beautiful experience from the moment I arrived. The views, the peaceful atmosphere, the vineyards, and the patio all come together in a very special way. The staff welcomed us right away and got us to our room without delay. We were met with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape of the Grand Traverse Bay. We enjoyed multiple excellent wines and came home with a box as well. The staff made us feel like family and the entire Château is very welcoming. Breakfast is outstanding. We enjoyed speaking with the founder, Bob, and talking with his daughter who helped serve breakfast (outstanding brown sugar bacon).
