Great little park. Lovely spot for a walk with or without a dog ! Wooded trails down to the water. Lots of areas to explore. Wish they had bathrooms for the public. Wish the parking lot would get redone already ! It’s hazardous. Hope they include more plantings when they redo the parking area. Needs more benches. The mansion is lovely for weddings but the view is not great with the messy parking lot. One can tour the mansion. Great visit to the Chateau at Coindre Hall in Huntington. Seemingly plucked from the south of France, this 1912 medieval-style mansion is 80,000 square-feet and has 40 rooms.
John was excellent.
Coindre Hall is truly such a special, memorable, unique, BEAUTIFUL and straight-out-of-a-dream venue. Getting married here was truly so magical! Inside and out, the building is gorgeous from whatever angle you look at! Between the charming structure and breathtaking staircase, there were so many places for us and the guest to enjoy!
