Washing Mutual Bank Credit cards This bank is the reason this country is in trouble. I have had a credit card with them for quite some time. I have NEVER made a late payment to them and I pay a few hundred more than my monthly requested payment. They recently raised my interest rate from 10.27% to 21.67%. Setting the Standards Washington Mutal is a great bank. They have started the "free checking" trend..which is great for us consumers! They have very courteous employees and they're open a little later than others.
Great people I have been into this Washington Mutual 3 times so far and have had a great experience. Everytime I walk in I get greated by the front desk lady. She asks me if there is anything she can help me with. If I only have a straight deposit or transaction with no cash back, she will do it for me right then. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
