Great customer service.. but very tight drive thru...
My husband and I recently opened three different accounts at Chase Bank Pantops in Charlottesville, because we were dissatisfied with the service at another local bank. Yay! So far, we are delighted. Banker Brad Lovingood was terrific. He met with us several times, at length, helping us work through various issues. He clearly is eager to help the customers. I have had two stellar experiences with this team. I live over an hour away, but this location has gone out of their way to make sure I am still taken care of and can handle things over the phone if possible. German and Alex have both provided excellent service and accomodation for me. I have no need to bank elsewhere when these guys are so helpful.
Unfortunately, while the staff at this location are very nice, the corporation itself has some seriously questionable policies. Took out a small business loan to consolidate some debt after expanding my business. This is a pretty straightforward process and should not be the source of stress or a negative review. However, Chase funded the loan over a month ago and rather than wire the payment to my creditors, which they could have easily done, they elected without informing me to mail the checks to my creditors.
