Lily at this branch was so helpful and such a delight to talk to

Went in to open a new checking and savings account, 45k cashiers check in hand, and I was turned away since I didn’t schedule an appointment. I was willing to wait until someone was free, but I was told that I would have to reserve a time in the system. Was also told the heights location has less foot traffic and could try there. She did offer to call ahead for me, but I was so unimpressed with the location I declined. I’ll have to go with a local bank/credit union option instead.
I feel it’s kinda sad that you can’t cash a check issued through this bank without paying a $10 for not being a member. Doesn’t the money come out the same? Just upsetting I suppose.
