I just left this bank, trying to cash a check that was given to me for some consulting work from a large nationwide company. I was informed by the teller that they could not cash my check since I’m not a customer and their limit is $2500 for non-customers. I just so happened to call the customer service number and was told that there is no direct limit and that it is the discretionary decision of the branch. For the teller to tell me there is a limit.
