Branch located in the downtown Silver Spring. No parking on site, but the parking garage is less than 5 minutes walk across Wayne avenue. Scheduling an appointment is recommended. For the reference, opening 2 shared accounts took about 45 minutes from start to finish just bc of sheer amount of information & required signatures. Also, if you are planning to open new account/apply to credit/mortgage - please do you your home work (Chase has useful website) & bring required documents with you, IMHO.

This is the most useless Chase Branch in the whole country. Incompetent manager and the personal bankers are ignorant, lack professionalism and don’t know how to do their job. Don’t waste your time going to open an account at this branch as a new immigrant with a temporary I-551 permanent residency. They lack knowledge about US immigration laws and documentation. I have had a very good experience so far with the staff at this Chase branch. They are always welcoming, professional and helpful. However, I recently had a very frustrating experience with their ATM. I deposited money in cash, but the ATM only counted about 70% of the money. Despite submitting a claim immediately, Chase provided a temporary credit of the missing amount which they later withdrew. Their responses from Chase claim department were inconsistent and unhelpful.
