I see why this branch has very bad review. Took a family of four to open checking accounts. They are permanent resident, has SSN and billing proof along with lease agreement in their name. The banker refused to open an account and said try with a credit union (Really!). Had a mailed in coupon that said $300 for a direct deposit said they know nothing about it. When I asked if I can come later the answer was we are busy today and lots of personal bankers are on personal leave. What an awful experience

Brought a friend who recently had a green card and chase ignored to open an account for him even though he had his bills and other proof for documentation. Then he went to BOFA took 20 mins to open an account
Very rushed and rude banker who was from India. She was irritated by our presence. It was a horrible customer experience. I was planning to transfer my account to chase bank but after this experience I will stay where I am. She needs some coaching.
