I have been a customer of Chase for years, but now I find there banking practices in question. I was told I could not cash a government check, that my only alternative was to deposit the check, and no funds couldn't be drawn from the account until two weeks had passed. Since when is a government check not worth the paper it's printed on? I'm in process of searching for another bank..🤔
