I was called to the side and a staff member requested that I conduct myself professionally which is fine, I get this as a whistleblower. But then the conversation went to my PRIOR EMPLOYMENT at their corporate location and even PHI was discussed so this is inappropriate. I reported the PHI issue directly to the Ohio Department of Commerce- Financial Institutions.
My mother stopped by to take care of urgent business a few days ago -- closing out an account for her father who passed. The Chase branch he banked at had everything squared away, they just needed her signature at the local branch, stating it would only take a few minutes. (nothing complicated, I used to work at a bank and am well aware of the procedures). She was next in line with no one else in the drive through. This branch was so helpful and patient. The teller was knowledgeable and completely went through everything slowly so I could understand.
