I would like to give a BIG shout out to the lady at Chase Bank in Barboursville for your complete lack of service. I called to ask about a notary for paperwork for my father who recently passed. You told me I couldn’t do it without an account there (after asking me what it was for) and I told you I have plenty of checks from work and I can come open an account because I need one anyway, and you told me “No, I’m not opening an account just so you can get something notarized. After two visits, I can say this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any bank. It’s simple incompetence, they don’t seem to know their job nor do they understand customer service. I was sent home once with an Internet address to take care of my problem and the second time given a phone number to corporate to take care of my problem. The problems I had were not very complex. Sad, given this bank‘s national reputation.

Awful Customer service. They made my grandmother an online account so she could view her banking info and not only put the wrong phone # but also address. The chase customer representatives wouldn’t help us either bc they had the wrong address put into her account so we couldn’t verify. They were also super rude when we were there asking questions. You could tell they didn’t want to deal with anything, even though it’s their job!
