Chase Bank as a whole is a joke. We opened an account and then Chase closes it due to fraudulent activity. No warning, no call, no nothing. I go in this location to get help and I have to open a new account and then call a number the following day to transfer funds. I call the number and the person on the other line is unhelpful and tells me I need to verify my account. I opened it at the branch with an account manager. Interesting how two people can be doing the same exact thing at this branch yet be treated entirely different. Deposited a check from an estate into my account. It's from a pretty prominent estate attorney in downtown Wheeling. The clerk, Marty, acted like it could be fraudulent, and said "the system" flagged it and had to put a two week hold on the check. A relative who banks at this location with the EXACT same check in the exact same amount came in about 3 minutes after me. We both went there directly from the attorney's ... read more
