I scheduled an appointment to have my power of attorney notarized. When I arrived, the notary told me she could not notarize it because she had never notarized a power of attorney before and did not know how to do it. This felt very unprofessional and was a waste of my time. I ended up going to UPS, where they notarized it for only $5 without any issues.
