My parents were at Southwind for 6 years. Initially my Father had dementia. With the help of staff, my Mother was able to take care of him until his condition worsened and he passed away at the nursing home. Then my Mother also developed dementia. She was now alone. The staff worked very hard to help her during these deteriorating 2 years, and management were very understanding and empathetic. My Mom has been in Chartwell Southwind Retirement for the last 3 years. Their staff and management are exceptional! There care and support for the people are the best ever!

The staff at Southwind is wonderful. They go out of their way in order to meet their residents needs and create a welcoming atmosphere that brings comfort to the residents and their families.

The food is edible. The staff seem to care about us. My apartment is comfortable and bright. If you press your alarm button the staff comes running quickly to check on you.
