Moving my mother into Chartwell Heritage Valley was one of the best decisions our family has made. From day one, the staff made us feel welcome and part of the community. Everyone genuinely knows the residents by name and treats them with real warmth and dignity. Mom loves the pond view from her suite and is always telling us about all the activities she gets to do. I was just at Chartwell Heritage Valley and WOW!!! Not only is it a beautiful residence, but the Welcome I received was warm and heartfelt. I have had the opportunity to enjoy a meal. DELICIOUS. I highly recommend visiting Chartwell Heritage Valley for a tour.
The staff at this retirement home are great—kind, hardworking, and genuinely caring. Meals are very good, and the recreation programs are fantastic for residents on both the independent and memory care sides. That said, there are ongoing issues that need serious attention. The elevators are frequently broken and take a long time to be repaired, which is very frustrating for residents and families like us.
