My sister in law has lived at Chartwell Conservatory Pond for 14 months now, I can’t say enough positive things about her experience there. The staff are truly dedicated to making your love one fit in and become part of the Chartwell family. What makes Chartwell stand out in comparison to other retirement homes is the excellent caring and dedicated staff, many who have worked there for many years. ( 10-20 years). When my husband Ken and I were touring retirement homes, we read the reviews prior to visiting and we were both impressed with the many wonderful positive ones posted for Chartwell Conservatory Pond. My mother has been living at The Pond for 1 week and I can't say enough positive things about this experience. The staff have been extremely positive and patient with my mom, helping her to navigate her new surroundings. Her apartment is lovely, with plenty of room for her wheelchair to move between rooms. She is so thrilled by the broad variety of activities; with an emphasis on trying to engage varying interests. My wife and I checked out 3 retirement homes in Kingston and after carefully weighing the options and features, decided to get Mom into Chartwell. The open house we attended with Mom was the turning point. We experienced a sense of welcoming and a feeling of being at home like none other. I’ve had the pleasure of doing some network cabling at this home for about a month. Within this time I’ve noticed how great the staff and management are, as well as how nice and clean they keep the building inside and out. Would highly recommend anyone to check out this retirement home.
