My mother entered Conservatory Pond in January as she was dreading the winter alone. Here she found companionship, made good friends, enjoyed the food and especially the activities. Conservatory Pond is where my father moved to after he was no longer able to look after himself. He has quite a difficult personality and finds himself at odds with most people (including those trying to help him), however, the staff at Conservatory Pond dealt with him incredibly well. Bob, in particular, was an absolute saviour and went above and beyond before, during, and after my father's stay there (give the man a medal, if not a promotion!). From the moment you walk through the doors you are made to feel at home. It is a great place to live, the staff take the time to get to know you and make you feel very welcome. My sister-in-law thoroughly enjoys there lifestyle, no more cooking, meals are better than at a restaurant, no cleaning, and medical staff on hand 24 hours a day for my peace of mind. My parents have been living at Chartwell for several months now and are very happy to be there. They are extremely well taken care of and they don't have to worry about doing any of the cooking, cleaning or laundry. We have eaten lunch and supper with my parents several times and the food is always great and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
