The transition to Chartwell Colonial has been an incredibly smooth and positive process for my Dad. He settled in pretty much immediately! MJ, the Consultant at Colonial, made everything so easy and seamless. She was such a pleasure to deal with and any slight issues that arose she was able to rectify pretty much immediately. Highly recommend!
Went for a tour in Fri. Aug 15th with my sister to look for a place for my 80 yr old mom. I was so incredibly impressed with both the tour and the facility. When we walked in the front door our names were displayed on an easel type stand announcing and welcoming our arrival! We were greeted by a young lady named Madalayna who had the warmest smile and professional demeanor. We met briefly in her office them she took us for a VERY detailed tour. My father in law is here and is well cared for. He just wants to be in his room and they are ok with that. He sees his friends at mealtimes and that is enough for him. Thanks everyone, for all you do.
My mom moved into Colonial Retirement Residence in January. After a period of settling in, I can honestly say that she genuinely likes living there. There are a lot of activities for her to participate in and the services provided to her are very good. She likes the food and appreciates having the weekly cleaning and laundry services. We are relieved to have found her a warm, vibrant home. I would encourage anyone to visit and consider the Colonial if they are researching retirement living for a loved one.
The Colonial has been a great move for my Dad. He really likes his apartment, and how everything else he needs is easily accessed on the main floor. He finds Jacquie and all the staff to be very cheerful, kind and helpful. The other residents also seem to be happy living at the Colonial!
