We recently moved my grandmother into this facility. It’s the best so far, she loves it there. The transition in was amazing. She had visited a lot of other retirement residences in the area but refused to be anywhere but this location. MJ’s wonderful personality, transparency and kindness sold her. Since moving in the staff have been amazing. Even family members who visit are impressed with atmosphere, residents and staff.

Visited October 2025 with my husband to find a place for my 74-year-old mom, and we were so impressed. Our names were beautifully displayed on an easel in the lobby to welcome us; such a thoughtful touch! We were greeted by MJ, whose warmth and professionalism immediately stood out. She gave us a detailed tour of all the cozy spaces, answering our questions with much patience. The apartments were bright, clean, and more spacious than expected, with lounge areas inside and out. The transition to Chartwell Colonial has been an incredibly smooth and positive process for my Dad. He settled in pretty much immediately! MJ, the Consultant at Colonial, made everything so easy and seamless. She was such a pleasure to deal with and any slight issues that arose she was able to rectify pretty much immediately. Highly recommend!
Went for a tour in Fri. Aug 15th with my sister to look for a place for my 80 yr old mom. I was so incredibly impressed with both the tour and the facility. When we walked in the front door our names were displayed on an easel type stand announcing and welcoming our arrival!
