Love this space atmosphere and it was in a very good market and I had some good shopping as well
Before a concert I popped in to see what Iranian food is like. It's a simple cafe in a grocery. However, the staff were so cheery and welcoming. I had the vegetarian stew served with saffron rice. The stew was luscious. And I do mean luscious! I have no idea how eggplant, tomato and lentils could be that lovely. Of course the rice was marvelous as well. I picked up some lavashak & sesame brittle from the store for dessert. Thanks for a great experience.

I like trying new ethnic foods and have never had Persian food before, so I thought I would give this place a try. I placed a take-out order for Fesenjoon. It came with rice. Everything about it was wonderful! The flavors were amazing! The chicken was moist and delicious, and the rice was also good. It lasted for two meals. I would highly recommend the restaurant portion of this establishment!
I want to start off by saying that this restaurant does not use real saffron. It is fake saffron flavour and yellow food colouring. My husband and I purchased koobideh, beef skirt and chicken shish kebab. The chicken also tasted bland due to the lack of real saffron. The beef skirt was 2/10. It could have been better. The koobideh had raw meat flavour and it was very mushy. Anyways, overall the food was 4.5/10 and the service wasn't bad, it was decent.
