I saw Dr Edwards for years at her practice in Missouri. I was sad to see her go to Illinois. The dr literally saved my life and I have never been able to thank her. I had a partial hysterectomy that was botched 20 yrs ago. I spent 2 yrs telling my gynecologist that something was wrong. I kept having pain on my left side. One day the pain was so bad that I couldn't get out of my car. I called Dr Edwards thinking it may be related to my intestines. She was very rude and questioned me as to why I wasn’t on birth control as if that was her business… It had NOTHING to do with why I was there. She had me in tears after my appointment. I do not recommend seeing her..
Staff and Dr was absolutely wonderful. Dr explained and did not sugar coat anything.
I've never had a Doctor act so cold, and treat me like cattle. She put alot of fear in me at my appt. Basically said I probably already have Cancer and a whole host of other scary stuff. At my Colonoscopy, I found out I was also having an Endoscopy. I asked them to get her explain, since I was never informed of that. She acted like I was stupid, and talked down to me just for having the nerve to question why. She said if she was only doing one test, she wouldn't even bother. I just wanted to know why!
