I am so happy to follow Rachael over to her new location here. She takes the time to listen to what I want and is honest about the best steps forward from where my hair is now. I like the salon, it is very nicely decorated and I appreciate the little treats.
Had an appointment this morning with a wonderful stylist...Kyla. Sadly, the cut style just isn't what I had asked for. I was hoping for more of an asymmetrical bob but when I got home it looks like a blunt bob just a little shorter in back....not enough to be noticeable. I have semi curly hair and it is quite flat on the bottom and super puffy wings on the sides. I feel like I have a triangle for hair. I have been looking for a good quality salon close to home and stumbled upon Charm & Champagne. My stylist was Marli and she was lovely! The haircut made me feel beautiful for the first time in a long time. Marli was also wonderful to talk to. Great experience!
I'm a stylist myself and I'd like to think I know what I want in a cut. I went for a curly cut with Shanika. My hair was a dumpster fire going in. Do I bleach more than I should? Sure I do, however with a little TLC and a hydration treatment, my hair looks like healthy hair should look. Let's get down to the nitty gritty here. Booked a last minute cut for my first time at the salon with Rachael and I’m so glad I did. I went in for a short bob and love how it turned out. She really took the time to listen and I really appreciated her transparency. She set realistic expectations, especially since my hair has a natural wave and going shorter would mean a bit more styling to get the look I want. It turned out exactly how I expected and love my new look. Can’t wait to go back to get some colour done
