I have celiac disease and I’ve eaten at Charlotte’s cafe several times now and have had no issues. The staff is knowledgeable and as soon as I mentioned that I have celiac/gluten allergy they assured me that everything gluten free is cooked separately and they even have a dedicated fryer for fries and tater tots!! If you’re visiting West Virginia, this place is a MUST! We happened to visit on a special “Christmas in Summer” day, which I had never even heard of before, and it was such a sweet surprise! We got some great laughs and really fun pictures. Everyone around the restaurant was incredibly nice. No matter what they were doing, they were kind, welcoming, and helpful.
