We had the most wonderful stay at Charlotte Street Cottage. It is beautiful and romantic and so very charming! The cottage is totally separate from the owner's residence, so it's very private. The gardens are gorgeous, and the location is ideal... everything Charleston has to offer is within a 5 minute walk. We will certainly be staying here again! 5 stars!
I am very late in posting this but felt the need to do so. It's too bad we didn't even get to experience this place. We booked a girls trip scheduled for October 15-18, 2016 to celebrate my 50th. However, my dad was admitted to the hospital early September and his prognosis was not good. We cancelled the trip on September 25th and was not able to get any portion of our prepaid trip. The Charlotte Street Cottage is enchanting! Staying at the cottage is the perfect combination of an historic house with the comfort of modern conveniences, top quality linens and an exceptional host who has the gift of hospitality! The gardens surrounding the private cottage are beautiful; it feels like a pocket of paradise in the center of downtown Charleston. The cottage is in the best location in the historic district.
