Regarding Brenda M.'s comment In response to the statement made by Brenda M. concerning her maine coon cat and "Medacam"..... Metacam. It is a shame that a cat has died, but I am positive there are some key points missing in her review. Metacam is "labeled" for use in cats in both Europe and Canada and is widely used around the world for arthritis pain managment. Best Vet in Asheville:Charlotte Street Animal Hospital I walked in on a Saturday morning with two sick puppies that had been dumped on the side of the road. The vet that I usually used (closer to my home) was closed. Dr. Ledyard at Charlotte Street Animal Hospital was amazing. He worked me in almost immediately and treated my pups for parvo. Both survived and flourished with the help of the great doctors and staff. Since then, the girls at the front desk always greet me and my dogs by name. I will never go anywhere else!

Dr. Rhyne is an exotics vet who is caring and has excellent skills. We had come to know her while she worked at Sweeten Creek Bird and Animal Hospital and it was comforting to have her help during our crisis. She is as kind and compassionate as she is knowledgeable. She will leave no stone un... read more

compassionate care for your pets Charlotte Street Animal Hospital is a great place to take your animals. When my cat got very sick and had to stay over for several days, they were so kind and patient. They answered all my questions, gave me progress reports over the phone and even let me make payments for her care (which is rare with vets).
