My husband came in to get a haircut and a beard trim. The barber he saw did not listen to what he wanted and did his own thing. His beard is ruined and now he has to shave it all off. Listen to what your customers want, they are not a canvas for your own artistic expression. It took him months to grow out that beard and within an hour, you ruined it.

I've been going to Joe Treywick for about 3-4 years. When i first started going i had him do a couple specific cuts. He did a great job, I felt they didn't fit me. Nothing had until that point except random accidental cuts here and there. One day, I told him to do "whatever". He's still doing whatever a year or more later. It not only fits me better than anything I can come up with or that others have tried and suggested in the past, it somehow keeps getting better.
