Don't know exactly when this place opened, but from this article, my college roommate & I must have been one of their earliest customers. We had just graduated from Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, NC) in June, 1968 and decided to take a trip "out west". We drove across the country to Carlsbad, NM first. I took my car into Charlie's to get repaired after someone sideswiped my drivers side door. The ladies there were very friendly and took care of dealing with my insurance co. and setting up a rental car. When I got my car back, it looked like the damage never happened. They even detailed the inside and outside of my car. Which I was not expecting. The customer service was great and so was the work. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get some body work done

My experience with with this shop was everything I had hoped for and more. The quality of work was excellent. Couldn't have done a better job of matching the paint on my truck. Couldn't be happier with the results and will have no problem recommending Charlie's to my friends. Thank you Debbie.

Charlies paint and body repair shop has been in business for meny years in this community we have used their services since 1978. The owners have worked with us on meny repair projects and we have been very happy with the work that has come out of their shop,...Arley Stump Sr..

I take all of my vehicles here they do amazing body work. The staff is a bunch of great people who make you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door. They are very professional and make sure the job is done right.

Dishonest people! Took my car in to have a door repainted and they didn't match the paint to the correct color. After they claimed that I purchased my car with the whole passenger side of the car a darker shade. Charlie's claims satisfaction guaranteed but only if you have the money for them to redo the work they should have correctly done in the first place. Warning to everybody, just look else where.
