An expensive - yet nice - place to stay at. Rules are a bit strict, and it feels like you’re a child, but I guess there might be some noisy people coming here historically. Beds are comfortable and cooking facilities are very good

Beware of false claims. This property stated two bathrooms, what we got was one bathroom and one outside toilet. One doona was stained the other had mould. No hooks in bathroom so clothes had to go on floor while showering.Only plus was proximity to town. Would not recommend this property.
Be mindful that the house with a deck and bbq are of a newer build at the back of the property. The actual house is old and tired, with a dated shower and the 2nd loo is outside. Nowhere to hang bath towels, 2nd bedroom door doesn't latch shut. Dishwasher isn't the best so be prepared to wash by hand. Does have a new oven as it was replaced whilst we were there. If these things don't matter to you, it is in a great location, and the house did the job of providing shelter and some comfort!
It was disappointing to find that it hadn't been cleaned when we arrived in the afternoon. Floors and furniture dirty and sheets still on the beds from the last guests. Someone was sent immediately to clean it and change sheets. Close proximity to Byron Bay, very short walking distance. One bathroom and an outside toilet.
