Do not use Charlie. He took a $1250 deposit from me in March 2024 and I am yet to recuperate my money. He avoided me, ignored me calls and emails, and only responded when I threatened him with NCAT proceedings. He promises over and over that he will return the deposit, and never follows through. Highly unprofessional and a liar.
He is an absolute scammer. He said the job would be done in two weeks and it took him 3 months. We paid for crime safe but he only installed fly screens. Do not trust this guy
Do not use Charliethewindowman. He scammed us out of a $5,250 deposit in November 2024. Having paid the deposit, we followed up with him around the time that he had estimated installation. He ignored several phone calls, emails, and text messages. Then he called back with excuses. We asked for evidence that he had ordered the windows from the factory. He sent us an order form - when we called the factory, they confirmed the order form was a fake. Oh, and he's unregistered. Stay away from this character.
Im having problems with Charlie committing to my job. So far he has been making promises and nothing happens. He has also taken a deposit I would suggest you do your homework before booking him. I'm concerned he is scamming and have reported him back to highpages and contacted the department of Fair trading.
Please do your homework before engaging this man. Contact Department of Fair Trading as he has a long standing wrap sheet of previous complaints and unpaid fines against him by previous clients. He is also operating unlicensed which means he is only legally able to take on work to the value of $5k. Be ware before using him and I strongly suggest avoiding him at all costs as he is very unprofessional, erratic and money hungry.
