We've come a long way since Bruce and Joyce sat down around the table with their kids to think of the name of this shop, but family is still at the heart of our operation. Bruce and Joyce Hansen founded Great Plains Auto Body in November 1988 as a family owned and operated auto body repair shop. We first opened our doors in Omaha, Nebraska in a 5000 square foot leased facility at 78th and F Street. In 1992, 2,500 square feet were added. Had some body work done and paid to have windows and other parts covered yet had overspray on everything. Also have grease pen marks on parts of car that won't come off. They broke a piece off the inside of the door that goes behind the handle and now it won't stay on.
