Rose and the staff are very knowledgeable. Set me up with the right gasket sets for a vortec top end swap , and identifying my engine when other shops could not figure out what I had
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP!!! They were extremely slow in doing the work promised and when it became apparent that I needed to take my block elsewhere, they tried to say I did not have the credit of payments I had already given them, luckily I had receipts. Then they held my things "hostage" and would not release them unless I paid for parts they ordered but never installed. After getting all my things and taking them to another shop, it became immediately obvious they had damaged my block. This is a horribly place to... read more
Be Warned DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP!!! Do not take your motor here! First of all they told me 6 to 8 weeks for an engine rebuild, I brought them a short block and 8 weeks later it was still only a short block! When I went to pick it up to take it somewhere else that would actually do the work they wouldn't give me my stuff! They claimed I had to pay for some bearings that I didn't need. I had to call the police to come help me get the stuff, because the guy at charley's was real rude. They damaged my block after they found out I thought they were taking to long! ... read more
