My husband and I used to love this place and we ate Charley’s often. The one we went to today I wish I could give it minus 5 stars. We both ordered a large sandwich as we usually eat half and save the rest for later. The food was horrible. I took maybe 3 bites of mine and threw the rest in the trash. My husband ate half of his and said he’d probably have thrown it away if he hadn’t been starving. But he did throw away the other half. There was no one there and we were not greeted at all. Everyone is always so nice, I always come on my break to get great food and they deliver everytime!
Charleys makes really good cheesesteaks that are hot, flavorful, and filling. I like that the sandwiches are made fresh with tender meat, melted cheese, and toppings like grilled onions and peppers. Their fries are also a great side, especially with a cold lemonade. It’s a good place to go when you want a quick meal that still feels satisfying.
