we found a hair on our salad plate n no comps for it n the sevice sucked
Salads are excellent; steaks are excellent, nice atmosphere. It's our favorite place to eat!
ordered rare prime rib got a medium one instead. told my server. ignored me and avoided coming back to table for remainder of meal. no mgr or floor supervisor asked why i left a 30$ steak uneaten. waitress just plopped down ticket and said she would take my money. charlestons is crossed off our list . have had 3-400$ dollar tabs in past for family meals.no more
We think Charleston's is the best place to take guests. We are proud they are here, on the South side of town. It never disappoints us. Service and food "THE BEST"

I have tried several salads and they are all good, but I especially like Walt's Champaigne Salad. I recommend this for anyone trying to eat "healthy."
the atmosphere is casual, some people are dressed up some are real casual. the staff is great, especially the manager ZEKE you should ask to talk to him. hostesses are nice, bar service is great (the drinks are STRONNGGG), and the servers get everything quickly and efficiently. affordable and a great place for families in the dining room or hangin out in the bar.... Something for everyone!!
This place is always reliable for a great chicken fried steak and baby back ribs-this is what we always get when we come here and it is never a let down-garlic mashed potatoes and glazed carrots are best in town.
