Dr. Patel is amazing, the best doctor I’ve ever had. That said, since WVU medicine took over this has been the worst place to seek care and I’m planning to switch to a new facility. You can’t get anyone on the phone anymore, I’ve had a med waiting on action from them for 3 weeks, and I had an ultrasound for GI and I can’t get anyone on the phone or to call with results. I have been a patient here for a little over three years and can't recommend it enough! Most of that is attributed to Jade Smith, FNP as she's the first person I've seen who actually listens and is committed to figuring out what is causing issues and not just treating symptoms. She's also incredibly empathetic and understanding and I feel I can 100% be myself with her. I've also had wonderful experiences with the staff as a whole and highly recommend CIM!
I called to make an appointment. I was told that I was not welcome- "because you were a previous patient who left the practice. That is our policy." I left over 6 years ago because my doctor, who was giving me great care, was moving to another practice. It is, frankly, vindictive, arrogant, and poor patient care to refuse to treat a previous patient because he/she followed their excellent caregiver to another office. Shame on your owner/manager. Zero stars.
This place is so wonderful because of Dr. BRIJAL PATEL and the wonderful staff here!!! Thank you also to the administration for this wonderful office. When we were looking for a family doctor. We tried a couple of places and nothing ever really fit or we would just be lazy and procrastinate when it comes to our health. Since we started going here we have never been better. Dr. Patel was there through my Melanoma, getting me healthy and helping my husband's health issues as well. We have never been healthier than we are today... read more
