After reading the reviews I was concerned about how my visit may go, but I can tell you that I was pleasantly surprised. I'll start with the ladies in the front. They were all friendly and helpful, especially since I'd never seen an ENT in my entire 44 years of life. The medical assistant who took me back to the room explained that I would need to be scoped so he could get a better look. I had an appointment with Charleston ENT in Walterboro 1-7-26. I was very disappointed to say the least. I felt Dr. Ansley had a very unpleasant demeanor. Nothing was done to help. Not certain why Lowcounty Urgent Care requested I see an ENT for further care. Some statements were made that assured me that I would never return to this practice. Dr. Ansley was cold, stiff and didn't care about my concerns. He made me feel that I was wasting his time and mine. He wasn't in the exam room more than 5 minutes. I will never go back... read more

I took my 85 yr old mother in to get her ears checked for hearing, it was suggested that she be checked for wax first and then could discuss other options if needed. Her appointment was for 1025 am, she was not called to the back until after 11 am. We then sat in private room for another 15 minutes. Dr Ansley came in and said he would check for wax.
