I saw Kelly today for the first time today and I *elated* to have finally found my hair person! I wear my hair in a short pixie and Kelly is a rare talent in this arena. I finally feel like myself in my hair. I'm planning to see her every 7 weeks till the end of time!! Kelly was fun to chat with and her salon was exceptionally clean. I loved the vibe and thriving house plants.
Jenny is a badass! With curly/wavy hair that has a mind of its own and that I want short-ish but not too short.. it's hard to find someone who can give me a cut that I like. I've been seeing Jenny for around a year now and I've never been happier with my 'do! She translated all my shrugs and "this is kinda what I want" and "this is what I don't like" and etc and crafted a consistently excellent cut. This place is a breath of fresh air! Knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices and a relaxing, comfortable space.
Very nice place, patient stylist (mine was Kayla Calhoon-Renzo). She was gentle with my hair and took her time cutting it. I have thick hair and got a short wolf cut, so I'm glad that she was careful with it. She also talked me through what she was doing. I will go again when my hair grows out!
Charleston cutshop never confirmed my appointment, and then sent me an angry text saying that I no called and no showed. They never confirmed it, so I never received a text or an email. When I explained to them that I never received a confirmation message to my phone or email, they just kept responding "Yes you did" Unprofessional, they don't do things properly on their end and then take it out on the customer.
