It was an excellent, clean, and pleasant hotel. The reception staff are always helpful and ready to offer advice. There is a swimming pool, which is important to me. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very pleasant! I have stayed at this hotel twice now.
Took a chance on this hotel, looked good, had decent reviews, honestly booked based on how it looked online. Could not have been happier with this spot. The staff is very friendly and helpful, southern hospitality for sure. Would definitely recommend this hotel for short stays to week long stays. Easy access to Charleston attractions.
The pool wasn't working, the room smelled terrible, and there was a lack of staff, so the rooms weren't being cleaned. The bedding was damp. I saw one cockroach, and then another large one. It was an absolutely uncomfortable hotel. I lay on the bed for just half an hour—fully clothed in a T-shirt and jacket—and got bitten by BEDBUGS. This had never happened to me before. Baby gator on 7/11
In the area for a workshop, decided to land here for the night. Accommodations were extremely comfortable, the room was tidy and clean, and the air-conditioning was on point. The self-serve breakfast was freshly made with lots of choices, delicious. The location is convenient and close to all of the restaurant and sightseeing adventures that Charleston and the surrounding areas have to offer. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area.
