My sister and I came to Charleston for the weekend after the hurricane. We stayed at the Hampton in the Historic District. Each time we exited the hotel we were bombarded with people asking for money . Everywhere we went in Charleston it was the same story. It became so bad we were clutching our purses and wondering if we would be mugged. Charleston, what has happened to the city I once bragged about? Charlseton seems to now a sanctuary city. There are grown men peeing in the downtown parks in broadlight! Fully exposed.
