Three years ago today, August 21st 2017, I underwent a lengthy back surgeon by Dr Charles Cha. He did a discectomy, laminectomy and a two level spinal fusion. My pain management doctor recommenced Dr Charles after my foot dropped and my leg went numb. Also, the epidurals were no longer working. I was in constant pain 24-7. I first met Dr Cha 11 years ago when I was referred to him with neck and upper back pain. After reviewing the results of my MRI Dr Cha told me that I did have several disk issues that would eventually need to be addressed most likely with surgery. Visited this Dr for my lower back problem that has been going on for a year.My Dr recommend him.Had a friend already had visited him few years earlier.for same type of issues.He got a somewhat same response as I did.All I need is a inversion table.What a joke.Had the answer in my basement bedroom the whole time.When he said that I was ready to go.Had no response to that answer.My friend was right.The day before I visited a surgeon in Savannah Ga.Said he could fix it with L5 and S1 fusion.Keep in mind I had 3 injections in Au... read more

Saw Dr Cha for post-op, 7 1/2 after surgery. I wore brace 6-weeks as prescribed and began normal activity immediately after no longer wearing the brace, bending, etc. I have been pain free after the first few days and continue to be active with no more than a sense of soreness when my back gets tired. I have had two back surgeries with doctor Cha with ruptured discs and he did a phenomenal job with both. It was instant relief from the pain i had into my sciatic nerve. I would recommend him to anyone with any back or degenerative disc issues.
