Made an appointment and was called the morning of asking to come in earlier. I could not, but offered to change my appointment date. They insisted I keep my original time, so I showed up early, signed in, and waited.....and waited....and waited....four other patients went back and one of those also left in the time I was waiting. Dr Slomka did an ablation on me and it literally changed my life. I’m so glad that I had it done .. he’s very professional.
Dr. Slomka is by far the best OBGYN I have ever had the pleasure to call my doctor. When he enters the room I immediately feel the concern for my well being. He may not even realize how effective his calm approach to addressing my concerns means to me. I feel as though I'm his only patient while he is in the room. I completely trust his decisions about my personal care. I'm not a young woman so this review is based on many years of experience with gynecologists.
Dr Slomka first met me in 1984, this would be the FIRST time he saved my life. I was an emergency cesarean because my mother was unable to dilate more than a 2. I would meet him again as a young woman facing precancerous cells that he removed during a LEEP procedure. Again, I came to him when I was ready for a tubal ligation. He educated me on my risks of ovarian cancer and we decided it would be best to remove my fallopian tubes.
