It was a stormy afternoon but the dining room was full. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. I give it a 9.5 out of 10, and will definitely go back.
Food is pretty good here but the last 2 times I had the fried trout it tasted burned. I have asked to have the trout cut down into three pieces instead of one large piece because I prefer the way its cooked and I like the taste better but have been refused every time with no real explanation. Onion rings are fantastic
I come to New Orleans at least once a year for Jazz Fest and Charles seafood is a must stop. It’s one of the most perfect casual seafood restaurants I’ve ever been to. All the food, and I do mean every single thing they make, is of the highest quality, outstanding taste, fresh and homemade. I could see why the locals love this place.
