I travel internationally quite often and read that Schwab is a great bank to have when doing so because it waives international ATM fees. I opened an account several days before leaving and Rick at the Park Ridge location went out of his to ensure my account was opened and that I received my card prior to leaving. He remembered who I was across several days of back and forth and put aside what I'm sure was far more important work to make sure my account was opened and ready before departing the country.
