Dr Rethy told her to eat popcorn and peanuts for constipation. Come to find out she had diverticulosis and was older. It obstructed her and she was vomiting constantly. and the on call doctor in the practice, not Rethy, told her to go right to the ER
I would rate Dr. Rethy a negative because he was rude from the beginning. Question me in a absurd manner and didn’t greet me or even let me know that I’m all set. He simply did his basic testing and walked right out without instructing me on the next step.
Very poor bedside manner and said my elderly patient should have expired. Very uncaring and needs to retire! Compassion burnout!
Too preoccupied with laptop, does not pay attention to patient problems
Dr. Chan is great. I don't really like going to doctors. She has always made me feel comfortable. It is because of her that I have a more active role in my healthcare and am healthier now than most of my life.
I’ve been seeing Dr Rethy for over 20 years. He is always deeply involved in solving my health concerns which have been many. I am allergic to many medications so Dr. Rethy does not just rely on giving me a magic pill. He does a thorough evaluation and listens to my reactions involving my needs in both his diagnosis and decision on what is the best possible treatment.
His mannerism was horrible. Was advised by other Dr not to return.
First-rate Physician!
Even though Yale New Haven Health says she is accepting new patients, her office says she's not. The office is also very disrespectful.
