Mikael did wonders to my hair! For context, I have thick Indian hair which is very prone to get frizzy. For the last few years I have wanted shorter hair cuts but with my volume of thick wavy hair it’s often difficult. The last hair stylist gave me layers and that just made everything worse. I found Mikael’s profile and showed him style inspirations! And he gave me what was closest to those inspirations but suits my hair! He also walked me through various ways to style my hair. I love this place so much. The staff are very friendly and inclusive of everyone! They will give you a copy and paste of whatever style/ cut you want. Would highly recommend to everyone of all genders and ages!

I have been on a very long search for a salon that is skilled with precision bob-cuts. I have been to 4 different high-end places across Charlotte and Dilworth, and have been disappointed every time. Enter in Charles Proper Salon, in Uptown. I had done a Google search, maybe 6-8 months ago, and had seen some negative reviews, and when I had looked again, they were gone.
