I was referred to him by my PCP. First visit I was not impressed at all. Horrible bedside manners. Said he didn’t think it was a hernia and he would not touch my stomach with all my background of surgeries and didn’t know why I was there, even though my Dr had referred me. Never thought we would need a Surgeon, and never due to an extreme emergency. However that changed several weeks ago. And I am forever thankful that Dr. Garner happened to be available that night. The care he and his staff gave my husband was amazing. The after care has been equally fantastic. We had seen another surgeon the Friday before and had left us very concerned about whether he was interested in helping or just in it for the money. Dr. Garner is the Best! Im a Boomer. Never want to go to the hospital.. I take No Medications. Met Dr. Garner saw my hernia. He explained what he did n I was totally at ease. His staff was great n Hospital was great. Surgery was a couple of hours. I woke up a Lil sore. I went home the same day. Pain meds for a couple of days. Back to work doing construction in 3 days! No heavy lifting. Dr Garner is a Top Notch surgeon. 3 Very small incisions ...4 weeks no pain at all. Healing up fast . Thank you Dr. Garner!
This charles garner performed hernia surgery on me and a skin biopsy which was what was supposed to be done,but after the surgery i woke up to a nurse dressing me and taking me out the hospital i was not even coherent yet,the worst part of my surgery was being sent home without any pain meds until 2 days after the surgery,his nurse perscribed me pain meds on april 25 2025 20 pills of which i have 18 left as of may 08 2025 i dont know why he chose to not give meds for pain ,
Dr. Garner is an excellent and very skilled surgeon!!! I cannot put into words how knowledgeable and efficient he is. My husband was in the hospital for over 30 days in ICU he was in very critical condition and needed an emergency surgery that needed to happen immediately. Dr. Garner brought him through the surgery despite other complications occurring. Then he needed another emergency surgery due to another set back occurring but Dr. Garner again took him to emergency surgery and saved his life a second time. He was very su... read more
