My son fractured his T12 vertebrae on August 5, 2023. Tomorrow September 30, 2023 will be 8 weeks and he still has not been scanned to check the progress of his healing. When Dr. Liu treated my son at the hospital he stated that he would need a CT scan every 2 to 3 weeks to ensure he was healing properly. In his defense the insurance company did not approve the authorization and are waiting for a "peer to peer" to grant authorization.
